Optimal CPAM ionicity selection depends on the charge density of the sludge. High-organic biological sludge from municipal digesters typically requires moderate to high ionicity (40% to 70%) to achieve charge neutralization. Industrial inorganic sludges respond better to low-ionicity formulations. Smedic provides beaker-scale jar tests to determine the optimal dosage curve and select the appropriate ionicity range.

Granular polyacrylamides have a shelf life of up to 24 months when stored in sealed, moisture-proof bags under cool, dry conditions. Liquid polymer emulsions typically have a shorter shelf life of 6 months due to phase separation risks, and should be kept protected from extreme temperatures. We incorporate specialized stabilizers in our liquid emulsions to help prevent early separation and settling.

Smedic's fluoride removal agent uses synergistic adsorption and isomorphic substitution, precipitating dissolved fluoride ions into insoluble complexes.
